An FLM Course for past armed forces members has been given the thumbs up.
14 former serving soldiers undertook a Gym Instructor Course with FLM Training, held in partnership with Everton in the Community, the official charity of Everton Football Club.
The one week course was aimed at giving the former soldiers an opportunity to take their first steps into the fitness industry with many of them now looking to move on to the Personal Trainer qualification.
FLM tutor Carolyn Tyrrell delivered the course and said, “The course went really well, it was great to work with the guys and they gained a lot from it and worked really well as a team.
John Pilkington completed the one week course and said, “It was a very interesting and enjoyable course delivered at a steady pace.”
Liam Kennedy also completed the course and said, “I have learnt an awful lot and will take the knowledge I have gained and the new skills I have acquired back with me.”
On his FLM Tutor Liam added, “Carolyn is a fantastic teacher and was full of enthusiasm!”
