Candidates will cover:
During the 4 day course you will learn how to work with special populations and develop a more in-depth understanding of conditions such as hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, pulmonary conditions and obesity to name just a few. You will also learn about the implications and effects of specific medications relating to those conditions and most importantly how to plan, deliver, manage and evaluate a safe, effective and progressive adapted physical activity programme, personalised to individual client’s needs and lifestyle.
Format: Home study, 4 day practical and theory course and 1 practical & theory assessment day
